George Mirabal
George Mirabal is a former mayor of Bell, California.
Mirabal was elected to the Bell City Council in 1986 and served his first term as mayor in 1988–1989. He served as the City Clerk before being appointed to the council once again to finish the term of Jay Price, who died during his term.〔http://articles.latimes.com/keyword/bell-city-council〕 He's been a member ever since and has served various mayoral terms, the latest being in 2008.〔http://www.sos.ca.gov/admin/ca-roster/2008/2008-ca-roster.pdf〕
Mirabal was sentenced in July 2014 to serve one year in the Los Angeles County jail and five years probation for misappropriating public funds.
